Confirmed the cause. All around the perimeter of the travertine deck there is a decent gap. All except one large stone that was pushed up against the brick of the house. The cracked coping is straight across from where that stone was touching the wall. Will shave that big piece of travertine...

Pool was finished by Anthony Sylvan deck subcontractor in April 2020. No instructions to seal or otherwise maintain. Pics attached. No mastic joint or anything between travertine packets and coping that I can tell. Lots of prefilled pics attached. Willingness to high a ew company to fix if...

Started with a freeze. Grew with additional freezes. Not obvious to me why this happened. What should I look for?
