    Once i take my cover off, I have never noticed that they have moved any due to freezing.. I do keep a floor protector liner under them all year.

    Wedding cake steps here also. I leave them in all year, I only take the railing and support arm off. I'm in South Jersey, and my pool will freeze if it gets cold enough.

    I have wedding cake steps and I leave them in year-round. I do take off the railing and support are that attaches to the deck.

    Thank you! Yep, I have been closing in September from day one. It's not that I want to, but every September my job takes me on the road and I can't take a chance on doing it later, plus my wife says she was done swimming.

    I use magic eraser all summer long around the water line. I also use Pool Perfect it helps breakdown oils, you should get a bottle.

    I always used my leaf blower to get the big stuff and dust off. The remaining which was not much most times did make into the water and got routed to the skimmer or vacuumed up. I only use mine in early spring to help bring the water temp up and keep it on at night to help keep evaporation down...

    Pool Stair railings?

    My deck supports cracked also, I used PVC pipes and elbows and attached it to my deck with a floor flange. Best thing I ever did.

    I'll try to give you my 2 cents and what I did, not sure if it was right or wrong? Our yard also had about a 5' slope. We put a retaining wall up and raised the ground to accommodate the pool to our existing deck. The ground under the deck was just dirt and when it rained or I had a hose...

    AGP - How many seasons did you get out of your pump?

    My 1 hp Pentair is going on 6 seasons, it began to get noisy toward the end of the season last year. Ordered 2 new bearings watched a few you tube videos and tore it apart and replaced them. Humms like a new one again!

    Thank you, yes the fountain just floats with a long clear hose the attaches to the return. It has a sliding weight the also attaches to the hose to keep it in place. I cannot remember where I got it from, sorry.
