    Hayward Heater Clicking/Knocking

FIXED. So my bad and apparently it was pressure out of the filter (need to install a gauge). I spent 30 minutes running water down it and churning the sand with my hand. It was a mess. After reassembly and fixing a very small leak in a pipe, the heater fired right up and has stayed on. I...

    Hayward Heater Clicking/Knocking

Wow....great info guys! Thanks. Yes, I can feel movement on the valve when it's making the noise that seems to coincide. Could that be caused by incorrect pressure? As in I need to adjust and check with Manometer? Or is it more I need to replace the entire valve. It's this one...

Anyone? Need to sort this out. I bought a Manometer so will check pressure tomorrow.

    Hayward Heater Clicking/Knocking

I’ve had a Hayward H150FD heater running a few seasons now. It’s been stored inside during the winter and installed 3 months each summer. Recently it’s started to show “Lo” which usually is an issue with the water pressure or pressure switch. I’ve gone through all the troubleshooting in the...

    What is your heater/pump schedule?

Anyone? I already use a solar cover...that's not really what I'm asking about.

    What is your heater/pump schedule?

Howdy. My setup is below in the signature. I'm wondering how to schedule the pump/heater running. The last few years I've used an auto timer that turns both on at 6AM and off around 5PM. The heater only runs as necessary to maintain temp. I know this isn't optimal as each night the pool...

    New pump advice

I started with a 12' Intex, then moved up to a 14'. I got sick of the Intex filters clogging and leaks everywhere so converted everything to in-ground hardware including the pump, sand filter, and heater. This is my 3rd year on this equipment and I upped the size again to 15'x48". It's...

One more pump won't prime thread....

Problem solved! The 3 things I didn't think it would be....it was. I checked the pump drain plugs, cleaned and reseated them. Then I pulled the pressure gauge from the filter, cleaned and wrapped with new thread tape. System primed and is pumping! Thanks so much guys!

One more pump won't prime thread....

Yep...it self primes and no issues last 2 years. Both intakes (skimmer and one on the other side) are clear and full of water. I checked the drain plugs for tightness but those are the only 2 seals I didn't pull. Will do that next. Thanks.

One more pump won't prime thread....

Howdy All, Went to open above ground pool this week and my hayward pump won't prime. System is setup as in my signature. It's worked in this configuration for 2 years. What I've done: - Checked all hard pipe connections and replaced a few to make sure there are no leaks. - Ran water in the...

    Hayward SP1091WM Skimmer Connection?

Yea...I figured it out. The internal female threads are 1.5" standard PVC. I have no clue what the external threads are for though.

Hayward thru the wall wide mouth skimmer installed on Intex Ultra Frame Rectangle poo

Yea...I was referring to the main connector on the bottom of the skimmer. There are both internal and external threads. The internals are 1.5" and I found an adapter for it. What are the external threads used for?

    Hayward H150FDP Heater no Heat

Yep, I think you're right. I checked it again and the water coming out the jet does seem to be slightly warmer so I'm gonna let it run for a while. This never happened last year, the water was always noticeably warm.

    Hayward H150FDP Heater no Heat

Yea, that's why it doesn't make sense to me. I check the temp. right at the outlet jet. I know what it should feel like and the water is cold...the same temp as the pool itself.

    Hayward H150FDP Heater no Heat

Gas is on and the heater is lit and running. Yes, warm air is blowing out the top. It's operating just as it did last season. There are no error codes and temp is set at 78 which is 18f above the water temp sensor reading. I've tried cycling it (resetting) 3 times now. Per instructions you...

    Hayward H150FDP Heater no Heat

Just turned the bad boy on this season. It was brand new last season. The heater starts up, no error codes at all, water is flowing, no bad sounds etc, but no heat. Flow is good. Valves are set correctly. No error codes on heater. I can hear/see fan and unit is burning NAT as normal...

    Hayward SP1091WM Skimmer Connection?

For those of you with this skimmer, what size is the output connector on the bottom? It's a large male thread that doesn't seem to be standard? I need to adapt it to 2" PVC. Thanks. Dyna-Skim | White Goods | Above Ground Pool White Goods - Hayward Pool Products

Apologies for dragging up an old thread but what is the size of the output connector on this unit? It's not standard 2" PVC. Thanks.
