    To cover or not to cover

    Do you cover your pool every winter? We live in NC and this is our second year owning an above ground pool. We did cover it last year. However, our neighbor owns a pool cleaning company and he never covers his. I've seen others that are not covered too. Thoughts?

    Bonding?

    We installed an 18' foot above ground pool; 52" deep. The electrician made a new properly grounded receptical that runs to the breaker. He said that it doesn't need to be bonded. I feel like it should. Do most of you have yours bonded? The pump also got tripped somehow after heavy rain this...

    Installation tomorrow

    I posted this question in a thread of mine from last week, but decided to post here. Originally my electrician was coming out before the installation of our pool. But the installer told me to have him come out after the installation so the electrician will then know where the pump sits, etc...

    Newbie! Electrical Questions!

    Hi all, We are having our 18' Heritage above ground pool installed soon. We have called an electrician to come out. I am so confused at what have the electrician do and how to keep everyone safe swimming. Do we unplug the pump before getting in? What all do I need to know and do? Thanks, Ashley
