I will get this yet... so according to pool calculator 2.67 oz of trichlor will raise cya to 32. So I have 1 inch pucks of trichlor that's 2.67 oz each. So you only add one for a cya of 32. Can't be right

Ok so today... Fc 3.5 TA 30 PH 7.8 CH 175 still no cya. Might go with bromine. My only concern is with chlorine you have the chloramine to check to give you an idea of overall water but is there a similar check with bromine or do you just shock once a week? And yes I have read both chlorine...

It's a refill with tap. Nothing added so far but baking soda and yes I triple checked at this point, and dry acid. The problem at this point is the ph I so high the 1oz of acid drop the TA down but not so much on the ph. So when I get the ph right the TA is 10 or 20

Ok I'm waving the white flag!!! I have drained and refilled again and still have foam from Ahhsome I assume. Been in slam for over 24 hours and still going from 12 to 4 or 5 in a couple hours for chlorine. Chloramine 1.0. Ph is off the scale I assume from chlorine... do I just keep in slam???

10 4... I had got Fc up to 12 in about 3 hours it's down to 5.5. Temp is 104. Wasn't sure if that kind of drop is expected

Thanks for the info... yeah I have been using the tf 100 kit for my pool. I did the Ahhsome on a cold water refill, twice, now water up to temp and chlorine at 6 it's produce a little foam with the residue ring after the jets turn off... is the best thing to do drain and refill or is this normal...

It was greenish when open but now cloudy blue... I can see return in deep end. But concern was I fought high ph all last year. So I should work on ph before TA? Pool still dirty I wanted to get Chlorine in then vacuum and brush tomorrow
