Thanks for the responses. I have never used any type of clarifiers or anything and I have never opened the filter sadly and cleaned it. I just discovered that process recently so I think I may just deep clean and reuse it.

Could I reuse the sand I have in my current filter for the new filter or should I just get new sand?

I get those black flying ants in my pool as well. I haven't figured out how to keep them away yet. I usually get my net and catch them all and drown them before getting in.

Currently I have a contract with an exterminator to treat my house for ants and termites already. I just asked the guy that shows up to treat around the pool and he does for me everytime at no additional cost. But you should be able to get some spray from a home improvement store and treat...

I purchased the e10 for my above ground pool and I love it. Cleans the floor, cove and lower wall a bit.

I would think if you are replacing the deck boards it should be fine as long as the pool actually fits in the space. If you had to do any adjustment on the deck it shouldn't be major. Sent from my SM-N920R7 using Tapatalk

I haven't heard of that. I installed my liner and filled it up the same day with no issues. Only thing I could see is maybe allowing the liner to warm up in the sun so it is easier to stretch but a foot a day is a little crazy to me.
