Took top off filter to clean and there is rust running down the sides. Looks like from the filter ring. Is this a problem??

I have similar dark staining in my quartzscapes tahoe blue plaster done 11-14. Yes it is a bad plaster job. Onbalance on this site maybe able to come a long and help you. He is the professional. I am just an unhappy pool owner. My builder will do nothing. I hope you get the help you need.

Boy, That helps A LOT on the correct way to do it. CYA was 40 on 5-1-16 I have been checking every 2 hrs and adding a little so this gives me the confidence on adding and how much. Have a nice evening!!!

since it was 24 hrs at about 3pm I was going to start bringing things up tomorrow. I do not know the rpm but I know it is on a low setting, so safe to say there will be electricity left over LOL. I checked the ph 2 times today and it is still 7.2. I will turn the pump back on and tomorrow...

It has been 24 hrs since my AA treatment. On the TFP directions it says to leave filter on (24/7) did that mean 24 hrs and now I can put filter time back to normal or does it mean 24hrs for 7 days????
