random chalky bbs found at the bottom of my swimming pool

I've been finding these random bbs at the bottom of my swimming pool randomly appearing for the past 2 months. Sometimes, a few days goes by before any new ones are found but more recently, I've found them popping up twice in the same day. I clean them out and they just appear again a few hours...

Intermatic Analog Time dead. Relay question

Yea, I may do that. I wanted to really stick with zwave because I've already fully invested in the Smartthings ecosystem for about everything else in my house. It looked to me all the automation systems used different protocols. I didn't ready too much into it though so i'll have to do some...

Intermatic Analog Time dead. Relay question

Sharing the trigger is how it works currently which isn't that much of a bother BUT it would be a nice to have. Sounds like I'd need 2 units for that functionality, then. Thanks for the links. I'll check them out.

Intermatic Analog Time dead. Relay question

Hoping someone would be able to help here. My intermatic pump timer stopped rotating so i have to keep going out to turn hit the switch manually. Instead of replacing it with the same timer, I have 2 extra FS20Z-1 relays from a previous project that seems like it would be sufficient to replace...

Tab Feeder doesn't seem to be working

Would an algae bloom be visible? The pool is crystal clear at the moment. As for your suggestion, I'll have to bring my water to a pool store to check my cya. Thanks for the advice.

Tab Feeder doesn't seem to be working

I have the nature 2 fusion inground sanitizer/chlorine feeder. I noticed that recently, all my tests have been coming back showing that my pool is low on chlorine. I'll admit that most of the time, it's because the tabs have all dissolved up and I wasn't diligent in adding new tabs. I...

Thanks! I figured as much. At least with low pressure, there's no concerns of anything blowing up in my face!

    issue with pressure

Hi Everyone, I'm hoping someone could help here before I call in a tech. So, the other day, i noticed that my pressure was higher than normal since it was sitting around 20 psi. When I first had the pool installed back in July 2016, I took a picture of the gauge and it was sitting at 14 when...

New Pool Owner looking for heater advice

Hello all, I've had my small pool for 2 months now and love it. I know it's the middle of summer now but I wanted to get a head start on the fall and winter months coming up. I didn't have a heater installed when the pool was built because I didn't think I'd be using the pool as much as I...

    Hi, hopeful first time buyer

Hi everyone. First time buyer here so I have tons of questions that I'm hoping I can get advice on. I didn't have the foresight initially when I bought my house so I didn't care much for having a large backyard so I purchased a home with a pretty odd shaped yard. Now, after living here in...

    New AGP Purchase

I also live in Houston and I'm thinking of getting a similar sized pool and also having it buried. Did they ever finish the job? How are you liking it? I'm trying to pick a dealer/installer for this type of job myself. You mentioned Cryer, did you like their work/professionalism/etc? Thanks!
