Groundwater issues

Yes, it’s an inground pool and he says that the best thing to do would be to dig a ground well and put a pump in it. I just don’t know who to call to do that. Unfortunately, this problem didn’t surface until after everything was done.

Ask your pool builder if he knows anyone that can do this for a you. I would also ask around at local landscaping places to see who they use for this kind of thing. Oh and maybe call a well digger? I will keep thinking on the kind of person to call and will pop back in if I think of any one else.

Thousand Oaks CA is not a very flat area nor is it known for water (lakes, rivers, etc). Seems odd to have 'high' ground water.

I am up in the hills and actually have a flag lot above me so I was surprised about the ground water as well. When we bought the house back in July of last year, we didn’t see any evidence of groundwater even with the pool that was here that we completely remodeled.

Thanks for you help and info.
