When I ask Google to calculated gallons for an 18’ x 56” AG pool does it take in to consideration it is only filled to ~ 50-52” or is it calculating to a full 56”?

You asked Google for a full to the brim cylinder. If you want a mostly full cylinder volume, use 50 or 52 inches instead of 56.

Radius X radius X 3.14 X depth in ft X 7.481 gallons.

Rain and evaporation will fluctuate you +/- 2 inches so it will rarely be dead on.

All pool related measurements are accurate but not precise. It is normal for there to be a margin of +/- 10% and everything will work just fine.
