I see options to setup time for superchlorinate, but I can't find how to turn it on. Anyone found it?Screenshot_20240426-194642.pngScreenshot_20240426-194618.png

I am no good with automation, so apologies that we have to wait. While we wait, can we discuss superchlorinate ? Are you aware what it does ? It just bumps the cell to 100%. You might as well just bump the cell to 100% yourself. People often attempt to use it to fix troubles, and that's not what it's for.

Currently activating/deactivating super chlorinate does not work from the Pentair Home App.
Thank you, so the app is basically incomplete, do you know of this is a known issue or should it be reported?

Anyways, I am actually using home assistant integration, which surprisingly still works even after the pentair app change.

Soleen,

I have three saltwater pools that I've had for well over 10 years.. In all that time I have never used "super-chlorinate".

If you maintain your pool using the TFP pool care process, it is just not necessary.

Thanks,

Jim R.

While tend to agree certain situations do arise.
For instance.

I have had my SWG set at 50% for weeks and have been sitting right at 5-7 fc. I Ran the spa over the weekend which I manually have to turn my bypasses off to be able to run my setup properly. My normal pool speed runs at 1200 rpm which is enough to kick the SWG on with the bypass open, since it was closed, I didn’t have enough flow to turn it on.

I caught the issues yesterday when I was checking my water, so I want to be able to super chlorinate to catch up! My fC is sitting at 1.5 😬.
I think bleach would be faster, but with no bathing load or any CC present I’m find waiting on the cell to do its job.
