Stuck Hose On Filter

I’ve tried big plumbers pliers and brute force but still can’t get this hose off the filter. Also not sure if it’s my lack of leverage but the same end to the pump is not spinning to come off. Any ideas?

Any possibility that whoever installed it put some adhesive on it to seal it onto the pipe? Can you take a knife and cut a vertical line in it to release some friction? This assumes you have enough hose to reinstall it properly.

Many times a union will not spin off is because it is in a bind. Can you push on the opposite end of the pipe to try to ensure it is in good alignment so the union can be turned. You may need 2 people, 1 to push on the pipe and other to spin the union. You could also lightly (stress lightly) tap on the union (with a rubber mallet) to dislodge any debris that may have built up.
