leave cover on or off? My CYA is around 35 right now (no SWG so Im happy with that). I lose about 2-3ppm a day as well. Should I just whip it up to 20ppm for the 5 days im gone and cross my fingers?

Back 3 years ago when my pool was put in a got a whole bunch of chemicals from my builder. I gave the tabs to my friend but just found a 25lb bucket of DiChlor in there. Was thinking about selling it since I use liquid chlorine only but I could use it to boost my CYA if needed, correct? If so...

The chart shows 3-7 is optimal range. I typically pump it up once it gets there to 7 and let it get to 3 and rinse repeat. If it's too low it shouldn't be the minimum, no?
