    Resilience SWG???

Dean, those were my initial thoughts, I wouldn't be saving much if i had to toss it in the trash after a season or two!! Yes ill install it myself, I have cut/glued plenty of PVC! I did notice i still get the full 7 Yr warranty on a DIY install. Just have to figure out how to squeeze it in after...

    Resilience SWG???

Is anyone Familiar with this brand of SWG? I am about to pull the trigger on an SWG. My pool is 28K gallons so doubling that puts me in the 60K category which doesn't leave me with many options. I don't have any automation so the Circupool RJ60 was looking like the best option at about $1,500...

    Using bleach

As far as the CC, OCLT, and cloudiness, they all go together. As soon as the slam kills every In the pool you’ll pass the cc and oclt test then when the filter catches up the water will clear. You can’t really target them individually. Just be diligent about keeping the FC at the slam level...

    Pucks in Floater

Pucks last a little over a week in my floater. They probably won’t dissolve fast enough to keep up with your 4ppm demand. I would just load up your floater and continue to test and add liquid daily. With the pucks in there you will just have to add a little less than normal until they completely...

    Party with kids

That’s what I do, right before the party bump the chlorine up to the top of the recommended range for your cya. Then test and add chlorine when everyone is done swimming. I have lost as much as 5ppm with a 5 hour 15 kid swim party...

Pentair Superflo VS - setting up to use heater and salt system

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I just successfully installed a solar touch with a superflo pump. Just as said above the com wire was wired into the booster pump relay and worked perfect. The only issue I ran into was the actuator turned the 3 way valve 180 degrees. Which was wound up...

Which parameter (pH/TA/FC) to target next?

The most important thing is getting CYA then chlorine in there. The puck(s) will add a little bit. So I would test first then adjust.

SWG vs. chlorine -- any reason NOT to do it?

2-3 gallons a day is quite a bit. But you say you have 19 grandkids. I do know when I have a couple of four year olds in the pool for a few hours I loose an extra 1-2 ppm for the day. They drink lemonade and eat watermelon all day and never have to go potty....[emoji848][emoji6]

Cloudy water for 2 weeks with no algae on walls...help

For the TA test keep adding drops until there is no color change then don't count the last drop.

Cloudy water for 2 weeks with no algae on walls...help

TA might be a little high but I wouldn't worry about it. PH is too high I would get that down. TA will naturally come down over time.

Cloudy water for 2 weeks with no algae on walls...help

Yes FC is 3 with three drops in a 5ml sample. Watch the chlorine. 3 is way too low for a cya of 80. a few days of that in a row and you'll be back to cloudy water. I would shoot for 10 and never get below 6.

What is considered a too high salt level in non-SWG?

I have been wondering why my stone is flaking... thanks!! One more reason to get a swg next season.

Cloudy water for 2 weeks with no algae on walls...help

Cya shouldn't have gone up unless you added something with cya in it, which it sounds like you haven't. Sounds like the pool looks good. I would raise the FC up to 10 and do an oclt, if you pass that and cc is less then .5 I would call it done. Then you can go to daily maintenance.

    Phosphates

I had a coupon so went to the local pool store to get some liquid chlorine. Just for fun I had them test my water. They were under by 20 on my cya and phosphates were 1200 [emoji6] I have had a crystal clear pool for three years.
