Leaking has stopped and the noise has not been back so far...! Huge thanks to y_not for all the help! :party: Not sure what was causing it but we emptied the sand out and started all over using the tips you gave. Worked!

Thank you all for helping. Love this place! Yes :) Yes, that's the lineup we have! Pool sucking out (lower pool hole) -> into the sand pump -> into the SWG -> then out the higher pool hole. Both plungers are also open. LOL made that mistake and caught as soon we started it the first time...

I took a video of the setup and that noise. It's dark out, just waiting for the video to upload to youtube.... Could not get a picture far enough back tonight but will get one in the morning.

Hubby said we already backwashed it, twice today.

I just set up my intex pool from last year with the new goodies, an Intex Sand Filter and Intex SWG. I'm feeling kind of dumb with the new set-up! :? The first day was great. Noticed a huge difference from last year! Second night the sand filter and swg ran we heard the swg alarm going off...

I know this an older post but I'm glad I read it. I was considering buying one for to prevent needing a permit. What brand made the deck? Yours looks a little different than the one I was looking at. BTW, It looks great on your pool!

Re: intex 16' x 32' pool Need idea's to protect outside of p I would like to see it! I'm looking for something to make a panel around the pool with. Cats are my problem. I know cats don't like water but I fear the cats and I will be both be sad :twisted:... The wet cat sad from the surprise...

The yellow line. As someone else mentioned if you are planning on taking your pool down in the winter you will need to keep that in mind. I was assuming you would leave it up since you are in NC (I'm from there and miss it!) If you are planning on taking it down in the winter you can put...

If you filled in the hole around the pool with clean bagged soil to ground level or sloped up just a hair more. it would prevent the pool from shifting as much and almost completely stop the chance of rocks or other nature trash from getting under the pool. I wish mine was sunk in like yours...

I put a make shift fence around my Intex Ultra. I bough some of the pre-cut lumber rails from HomeDepot ($1 each) I notched a "c" shape in the same spot of each post (about 12-15" from the bottom) so it would rest against the top pool rail and used zip-ties to attach them to each of the pool...
