    Bees

I hope this is in the right place. I have an above ground pool. It is around 14,000 gallons and is salt water. The PH, CYA and chlorine are all good. I have trouble with bees. I don't know what kind they are. My friend calls them sweat bees. They are about the size of a house fly or a little...

    Bees

These are very small and a dark color. When they get on you they will bite/sting pretty good. Some days I have to make a trip around the pool with a skimmer net in my hand every 15 minutes and will get 8 to 10. To give you an idea of the size they are 2 to 3 times bigger than a tic.

    Bees

Hello, I have an above ground pool. I am running a SWG on the pool. We have been getting a lot of little tiny bees in the pool. Does anybody else have this problem? Does anybody know if they could be attracted because of some kind of imbalance in the water?

    Pool is closed

Did everything according to closing your above ground pool. Can't wait for next summer.

    Bleach adds solids?

Welcome and listen to the people here. I wasted three weeks with pool stores and my green swamp stayed a green swamp. After four weeks here and listening to the people here I have a beautiful clear pool. Do not listen to the pool stores.

New Pool, first test, I'm confused?

If you have a SWG it should give you the salt content on the digital readout in the controller. Make sure the chlorine switch is turned to auto. I am running mine in a 13,000 gallon pool for two six hour periods each day set at 20% and am keeping an FC of 6. Hope this helps.

    Loving my pool now.

My slam has been over for around a week. The pool is still clear and we are enjoying finally being able to swim. I almost have my SWG dialed in. Here are my numbers. PH is 7.2 FC is 6 CC is .4 CYA is 70 TA is 100 Salt is 3100

Out of DPD - pool store had . . .

16 gallons doesn't sound bad. I went through 80 gallons in three weeks during my slam.
