still working on my pool. Am contacting intex because something is wrong with pump. However it will run for 8 to 10 hrs. Just did pool calculator so going to add bleach and acid and hopefully get back on track.

my pool is light cloudy and dull. I can see all the bottom of the pool. There is no deep end. It is just 18' above ground. I just did not want to lose everything I have already done to it. Should I add bleach? Or just wait til I get home? When do I turn on the swg? thanks

here are my numbers. FC-15.5, CC-0, TA-200, CYA-60, PH 7.7. Pool calculator says add 5.7oz bleach, 7.2 oz muriatic acid and 7.3 oz stabilizer. So I will go put more stabilizer in sock, put acid in pool and have Bryan put bleach in later tonight. Will not be here to check so is it going to be ok...

the first time I put in stabilizer it was 22 oz, then when I did pool calculator couple days later, It said add 29oz again, so I have put it all in. It is all dissolved. Not sure what my CYA is supposed to be or I dont remember. I will recheck. I dont always have a good memory. Something to do...

ok but according to the three tests on overnight my FC went down too much, so does that mean the algae is not really gone, just hidden and will start growing again while I am gone? Do I need to go ahead and shock it the 62 oz tonight? Im sorry, Im confused.

I redid my pool calculator for a FC of 16. It says I should shock with 62oz of 6%. This is according to my CYA today, but what about my CYA when I started? Do I raise my FC number just because my CYA is higher today? Or do I stay with what it was when I started all this?

did my test this eve for the overnight. FC-13.50, CC-0. CYA-50, TA-150, PH -7.5. Will test in the morn and post. I know I did not need to test CYA so soon, but Im like a kid with a new Christmas toy. LOL
