I got my new pool set up and finally finished filling it up last night. (updated my signature line) I added 27oz of the HTH Stabilizer (CYA) per recommendation from the pool calculator. Ran the cartridge filter that came with the pool for 4hrs. (waiting for new sand filter system to come in)...

Long time no see! Sorry for being away so long. (2+ years) Went through some personal issues. I feel as if I am competent enough to upgrade from my Intex pool to a "real pool" I have went to the 2 closest pool stores (24mi away) And they are wanting $4,000+ for a 21ft round pool package and...

If you have the same electrical rates 24/7 then it is basically a just a personal preference. If you run your pump during the day, the water temp will be higher. If ran at night your water temp will be a little cooler. My wife and I can't stand a 2000 gallon bath tub like a lot of people do...

by chance would the siphon hoses you buy for kerosene work? Not sure if it would, just thinking out loud.

the box/contraption at the bottom of the picture, is that where you house your filter, SWG, etc? If so, is it home made? Store bought? I'm interested in getting or building one of my own.

Except for out growing it, we love our 12ft Intex pool! set it up once, and it has endured almost 3yrs of weather. Rain, Hail, and snow! After this summer, we will let it have eternal rest and replace it with a bigger permanent one.
