hey all, i did a major mistake (i am not happy at myself) and in attempt to open up and find the internal spring of the directional flap valve of the aquabot turbot t-jet (to troubleshoot issue aquabot issue with only moving in one direction) i opened the motor assembly and an oil-like liquid...

any ideas on how i can test if the flap spring is the culprit here? thanks

of course. here are they are. i removed the ports so you can see the valve in there too.
