    Questions about Salt Pool

I used to change my pH all the time and finally read here let it find its happy space. Mine goes up to about 7.8 and really doesn’t climb anymore so yours may want to stay around 8.0. Mine still climbs above 7.8 but takes several weeks and still never goes that high. But for the new surface...

Advice on replacing polaris 360 or installing booster bump for 380 or some other cleaner?

I also get a ton of leafs and like my 360. I had a robot for 3 years until it died, it was great for getting up the small dirt but can't justify the cost for something that may break after 3 years. Plus it didn't do any better with leaf's. I was lucky and found a " used" 360 online and it looks...

    Warrior SE died what's next

Haven't been on the forum for a while. Came here hoping to erad " wow they finally made a water proof robot" but sounds like not much has changed. My Polaris is still chugging alone, doesn't get the fine dust but good enough and its repairable ;)

    Fill-o-matic leaking at the hose

I wondered that also, only model shows the hose screwed directly into the body..I tried that and it isn't leaking so maybe I will just stay with that :)

    Warrior SE died what's next

Mine still sprays out some but in my experience the more water I can force through the insides the better it works.. I have a huge pump and have even tried cranking the pressure up but didn't help a lot. Over all I am happy, it cleans good and I can fix it if needed.. I liked the Dolphin but...

    Fill-o-matic leaking at the hose

It had a 90 degree elbow and I can't get the water hose to seal..Tried a new water hose gasket and it seems to keep getting worse. Has anybody else had a similar issue or know if it requires a special washer?

    Warrior SE died what's next

Sorry have been dealing with a family emergency the last few weeks I don't run my pump at a higher RPM but divert water returns from thje spa and pool to the spa and cleaner. For me it seems to be more about volume. Mine has a built in " cleaner" fitting in the pool so was an easy installation...

RPM’s to keep Flow light green

You will be shocked at the junk that comes out. I use the wide spread spray and keep it moving. Also helps to have a wall to lean against. I tried it with my gas one once and it kept knocking it over :)

RPM’s to keep Flow light green

If you have a low power pressure washer it will get the stuck on junk out. The " don't try this at home" part is you need it to be low power and a wide spray and spray down. It can damage your filter so use it on a old spare. I bought a small electric ( $49 amazon open box deal over the winter )...

SWG Install - To DIY or Not?

It’s a very easy installation. Also a good time to “ redo” and plumbing you don’t like. you won’t regret it, it’s not only easier then hauling jugs of bleach around but the water feels smoother

Converting new pool to SWG - procedure/best practice needed

Also you usually get it cheaper if you buy over 4 if I remember. I would buy a couple extra bags also

    Just converted to SWG

If your pump is energy efficient just run it at the same speed longer. We have a spill over spa also and I run mine 24/7. Energy cost with newer pumps isn’t bad and I enjoy a clean pool. If you want to reduce the speed you may be able to partially close your other returns. I pull from the pool...

    Just converted to SWG

I was the same way at first trying to save my cell. But like others have said use it and enjoy the benefits.
