    Efflorescent anyone???

My natural stone tiles under my pool coping have some pretty ugly looking efflorescent build up...just the powdery mess that disappears as soon as water hits it, but then comes right back as soon as it's dry. I've tried very diluted muriatic acid followed by quick scrub and fresh water rinse...

Been SLAM'ing for almost 2 weeks now????????

Thanks Dave! My OCLT this AM was 2ppm and the chloramine (CC's) was 1ppm....so definitely making progress. I just went and scrubbed all the water features...did find some green algae on top of some of our rocks (but well above the water level...more like where it had rained and rain water...

Been SLAM'ing for almost 2 weeks now????????

Thanks Jblizzle...it's actually not the chlorine level that scares us...but rather the getting in knowing we have chloramines...it's just yucky. He actually got in it right before I started slam'ing and as soon as I smelled his swim trunks (from the other room!!) I knew we had a problem!

Yeah...I was really close to starting to worry myself! 4 weeks? Yikes! My husband has been teasing me to override my BBB method with magic powders b/c he wants to use the spa! Guess I'll be holding him off still! LOL I've checked everything pretty well...the lights are going to be tricky...

    Cordless M5 Liberty

So you mean you are leaving the cordless M5 Liberty in the pool non stop? I would LOVE to do that...but the manual specifically says it should not be kept in the pool or extended periods of time. It also says it should not be kept in water temps below something in the 50 degree arena I...

    Spectralight UV Systems???

Has anyone out there had or used one of these systems? I have recently discovered that VOC's seem to be what has triggered an adult onset of severe, persistent and uncontrolled asthma. I'm attempting to reduce my exposure as much as possible, so in doing that I'm being forced to rethink our...

    Help w/ TA rising please!

Ahhhh....that might be the key. I've never taken it to it's end point....did not know to do that! I've always stopped as soon as it turned from purple to a shade of pink. If I do add another drop it becomes an even darker shade of pink and then no other change takes place...which would bring...

    Cordless M5 Liberty

Could the l-ion battery inside the cleaner itself be starting to go bad ya think? Weird!

    Cordless M5 Liberty

Yes...I did mean the charger. I had to unscrew the A/C power cord completely off from the charging station. When I removed it, there was corrosion and rust both inside the a/c cord receptacle on the charging station and all over the end of the a/c cord that attaches there itself. When I...

    Cordless M5 Liberty

Also....next time you open the pod and reassemble...try plugging the battery power cord into the wall BEFORE attaching the power cord to the pod....make sure that the blue ON button is not lit and then attach the pod and hit the ON switch. This is what I sorta also discovered could be where the...
