Looking to replace Hayward 2HP single speed Northstar (230v) pump w/ a variable speed pump. Trying to figure out what size variable speed pump to get, and do you recommend a particular brand? All pool equipment is Hayward. TY!

I estimate our CYA level at 200... using Taylor test kit recommended by TFP I tested a 50/50 mix of pool and tap water to receive a CYA level of 100. We are in the process of draining to lower CYA level. Question is how much volume can we remove before we have to worry about floating the pool...
