    Yay, Foreclosure Pool!!!

Hey Kim! I think you may be onto something. Does anyone know how to fix the valve to a Hayward? This is the return bubbles: https://vimeo.com/142425991 This is the valve that's probably leaking: I'm thinking Kim's right because when the pump is off, the water near the pump dries up. When...

    Yay, Foreclosure Pool!!!

I was in Austin! We're in Ft. Worth now. I thought it was staining but I'll double check. Any tips on how to scrub algae on my light? The light is out of its casing and shows algae. Thanks! I'll fill up the pull to half skimmer. We knew that but then also noted the air bubbles went away when...

Ha! Kim! We have said the EXACT same things. Especially the drunk part. Some of the things, he did great. Others... I, having no experience with much handyman work, would've done better. Our master closet door was installed upside down... So the handle is at my chest. And, now I'm finding with...

I just watched the video again and noticed all the bubbles. Is that indicative of a leak or just par for the course when there's such turbulent water? Oi. This house. What did we get into?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hiiiiiii!!!! Sorry to leave you hanging! My house started falling apart and life happened. BUT, my pool is still clear-ish [emoji16] I went out of town last week and came back to green/black dots on the bottom. But I'm sweeping like a fool. Thanks for all the support you guys!!! I'll take a pic...

Okay. So, I went out to see if the water level went down after I turned the pump off and noticed the same issue: About a fist-sized air pocket in the pump basket. Come to think of it, I noticed the lack of air pocket while my pump was running on "waste". I'll test all of this again tomorrow...

I think it only burps when the pot is close to full. I'll check tomorrow. Crazy enough. I noticed that my pot is almost completely full of water save a dime-sized air bubble ever since vacuuming today. Any theories as to why that could be? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you, Marian! What way do you usually prime yours? By allowing the pot to fill in its own when turning the pump on or by filling with water? Random side Q: anyone know what I can google to get a better understanding of this concept? I need a "pool plumbing for dummies" book [emoji12]...

    Yay, Foreclosure Pool!!!

Thank you guys!!!! Ah! Love you all!!! I'm running the water hose as I vacuum so water level is fine. I will definitely use the leaf take next time [emoji106]? I tried to prime it just by bleeding pressure on the Hayward during "filter" mode. This didn't work because there was no water even...

IIIIIIIII'm in trouble. I have all but a pile of muck at the bottom of my pool left to vacuum, but no water is flowing out from my backwash hose!! I emptied all the strainers. And removed the vacuum hose from the skimmer. My strainer pot gets maybe an inch of water max. I tried to get water...
