I use 12.5 liquid chlorine and add to the deep end .

Well here’s the thing, my cya was previously at 30. I added 5 chlorine pucks to the feeder which raised it to 60. So I do believe I’m getting a accurate reading. I did just do pool math again at cya of 60 and the target range says chlorine can be as high as 9.

Looks great when chlorine level is 10 but that’s not safe for swimming right?

Hello All, I have a few questions regarding what to do right after my pool is filled and what order. I done the pool calculator and it said 2 cups bleach to go from 0 chlorine to 3ppm. Should I add bleach right after its filled? And does that amount seem right for 11,000 gallons...

I found 12% liquid shock at Menards, considering the possible issues of trying to find it this season I decided to buy 4 cases. Happened to be reading on a post that it DOES have a shelf life. Will my chlorine be good through the summer until Sept?

Gosh, cant imagine actually cooling the pool! It does make sense though. my builder said it 11,500 gallons.
