What do you think about the Hayward C1200 SwimClear Plus Cartridge Pool Filter, 120 Square Foot. Our volume is probably closer to 11,000gal ... think I should go bigger? This one has great reviews and some of the customers commented as having pools my size.

Ok so what should I do in the meantime of getting the cya up? Keep with the slamming? I don't want it to get back to zero of course!! And back wash more frequently?

It's actually not darker it was shaded at the time. Up close it was just cloudy green instead of more clear green. We have added 8.25% bleach 4 times today so far. Just added another 139oz and the water is cloudy but can now see big "piles" of green in places on the floor. And also there is now...
