I use an aquador and plug the return. Water is not able to go through the aquador and I'm sure the level would rise above it. The liner is also tucked on the inside of the pool near the rails at the top (6 inches or so from the top of the wall). That's why I'm concerned with water getting...
I've read all that in the past but curious to hear from members who haven't drained any water when covering the pool and leaving it be over a cold winter. I live in the N.E. I would like to know if water can/will get behind the liner if done that way.
This time of year again. These evil things are dropping it in and around the pool, on the asphalt driveway, and even on the cars. Sick of this every year. Has anyone actually figured out a way to get rid of the Grackle?
This has been a major problem every year since I've had my pool. The grackles are out there in full force in my yard. See them dropping that mess in the pool every 30 minutes. Has anyone beaten this behavior yet? Nasty every spring.
Instead of using silicone, couldn't you just replace the two rods back into the hole after removing the bars? Wondering if they would leak that way or not. I have an intex also and am glad you provided this.
