    I have the same issue with a new trex deck. It only happens if I have boots with rubber soles . My pool is bonded along with the water . Just wish if someone with electrical experience can clarify nothing is wrong if u can discourage static into a pool.

    As far as bonding gos it’s bonded at Every 3rd or 4th post w 8g wire and to the motor . Bonded water through the filter housing same loop

    Can it be as simple as I am discharging a static shock into the water or is this a sign something wrong. Again everyone is using the pool with no issues. But I do know I feel it now and then

    id like to see a pic of the pipe in the return line to get a better idea which option i should go with
