Create a delayed turn ON for my heater - Intellitouch

Thanks. I did try that yesterday so let’s see what happens.

Create a delayed turn ON for my heater - Intellitouch

    1. how do you get the pump to pump 24hrs on the screenlogic? 2. Of you have two schedules on the screenlogic, which one takes precedent or does it just run them in order Many thanks for all the quick input and responses.

Create a delayed turn ON for my heater - Intellitouch

It is set to maintain 60 but then set to 80 at 3am to allow it go get to 80 by 8am for my wife to swim. She swims 2 to 3 miles a day. The pool heats up at roughly 2 degrees an hour.

Create a delayed turn ON for my heater - Intellitouch

The schedule was set with input from Pentair technical support 3 or 4 years ago so as to make it most energy efficient. As it is small 17000, running it 24 hours meant it ran at a trickle (the lowest speed the intelliflo could do)

Create a delayed turn ON for my heater - Intellitouch

This is the opposite of what everyone else normally asks about how to turn off the delay. I want to create a delay (the same as the pool cleaner delay) before the heater turns on in the intellitouch/screenlogic software. After 2 years of monitoring the heater behavior (Mastertemp 400) as we...

Jacuzzi Spa 355 temp sensors tripping breaker

Yes thanks - that is exactly right. And the problem is solved. It appeared to be water that had got into the heater. Once the unit dried out, everything was perfect and back into operation. My supposition was that with the hi-limit switch disconnected the heater and thus is did not work. When...

Jacuzzi Spa 355 temp sensors tripping breaker

Within about 5 to 20 secs of turning on the breaker the unit trips the breaker. I removed each pump and sensor 1 at a time and have isolated it to the temperature sensors. With the sensors disconnected all other equipment operates. Any guidance on what to do or replace the sensors? I can see...

Pentair Intellitouch to control heater to get different temperatures

Thanks - what you note is exactly what I have done for the last year. As you note, the downfall is that the heater is available the entire time the pump runs. I only want it to be available for the portion of the day. (ie I had hoped using the second pump feature) Any ideas? Many thanks

Pentair Intellitouch to control heater to get different temperatures

Exactly right, I am looking to create two different schedules. However, I see no way to create a heater schedule that is exactly the issue. On the system today, you set the temperature and the intelliflo calls for heat when the temperature (from the sensor) drops below the set temperature. If...

Pentair Intellitouch to control heater to get different temperatures

Jason Many thanks - I can't remember the technical terms, both heaters were Raypaks and less than 3 years old. the "insides" ceramic tiles/area burnt out. It appears to me that the heater keeps working even when the flow is at or below 15GPM - I have never seen it turn off.

Intellitouch SPA Error; when heater is required

I have a raypak heater connected to the pool. When the pool function requires heat is activates the heater perfectly and everything is fine. In order to establish a second heating cycle at a higher temp, I have connected the SPA function to the heater. When the SPA function calls for heat, I...

Pentair Intellitouch to control heater to get different temperatures

I have an Intellitouch system and want to set two different set of temperatures during the day. The main reason being I do not want the heater (Rayvak) to activate when the pool is in it's normal very low flow mode - I am also using a Intelliflo VF pump so the flow is very low during the day -...

Autopilot and Salt water eating plaster and using acid

Jason - thanks as always and I am sure you are right. It just becomes impossible to disprove anything they say.

Autopilot and Salt water eating plaster and using acid

No - as per my note they never said that - they said the salt water had caused the corrosion - (also noting the pool runs 12 months of the year). I have had an ongoing issue getting the salt water system to stabilize and I also now find that no 'sacrificial' anode had been installed which Raypak...
