    My plywood forms were similar to that, but they were all nailed together. Some of those plywood sheets look loose, unless they aren't done with them yet. And, yes, the mucking out takes a long time as it very tedious work.

    If the voids are limited to what are in your pics, it’s probably not a big deal to just fill with gunite. If there are larger ones, I would at least inquire with the builder.

    Yes they should remove that debris under the rebar to a depth of like three or four inches. The rebar needs to be in the middle of the gunite. When it rained for days and the bottom of my pool filled with mud to the bottom of the rebar, a crew spent two full days “de-mucking” it by hand...

    LED Bubbler light pattern?

    It just mostly goes up, but it is bright - brighter than all my microbrites in the pool and basin. Here are my three pentair bubbler lights on my swim shelf with the bubbler off. It can replace pool lights on a swim shelf, but that is personal preference. Sorry, I am not a great night...

    Piers or no piers in North Texas?

    It’s all over the map in north Texas. We did fully engineered piers because the pool, feature wall, cabana etc are all one monolithic tied-in structure. Unfortunately, when they went to do the concrete piers they hit water even through my immediate neighbor did not hit water on his piers/pool...
