S300 was delivered today and it doesn't work

In my experience dealing with Marina has been great. Similar situation as you, was disappointed with the S200 I ordered. Marina helped resolve swiftly. Would never buy a maytronics product again but very happy with Marina’s support.

About to treat my Polaris like the printer in Office space

Robots can handle free form shaped pools just fine, generally.

    Robot Options

I’ve tried the Polaris 4wd units and the Active 20. While the active 20 is cheaper, you are getting what you paid for. It doesn’t clean as well as Polaris, gets stuck on drains, and find overall control unit to be lacking in features and day to day reliability. Go with a Polaris if you can...

    Active 20 question and criticism

Geebot, would be excited to try that, but that's a bit too expensive for what I'd be willing to pay. I wish I owned a 3d printer; I'm pretty sure I could come up with something that could work.

    Active 20 question and criticism

Jim, I can see where it wouldn't matter to some, but as I planned to leave my panel/cart on my deck, having a constant blinking blue light is a bit of an annoyance. Generally, when electronics blink like that constantly it's to indicate you of something being wrong. Coming from a Polaris...

    Active 20 question and criticism

I actually just saw in the manual that the button does constantly blink between cycles when in weekly timer mode. What a poor design choice. While I was happy to save a few hundred dollars in buying this unit over a new polaris, I think I’ll have to return and do just that.

    Active 20 question and criticism

Quick question on the active 20 - should the blue light (Around the big power button) on the unit blink after a cycle is complete? Is that normal? I was hoping to mainly just leave this in the water on the cycle that cleans every few days, but would expect lights on the control panel to not...

New Pool - Plaster Chipping; How Concerning?

Hi All, My pool is just over a month old and today I noticed a couple things: 1) The light no longer works. 2) Most concerning, a piece of plaster by the light had chipped off and fell on the pool floor. I scooped out and took a picture of it. come The plaster and electrical came with a one...

Thanks for the advice. I'll have to do some research on swg on this site.

    Coping Upgrade Cost

Good news - just went back and re read the contract we signed as part of house documents we signed back in January which states the pool includes standard pre-cast coping with safety edge, which we much prefer over red flagstone. Will be pointing pool company to the contract next week. While...

    Coping Upgrade Cost

Thanks for your thoughts, however, our budget and what we want to spend on the pool is what it is - we knew going into the process the pool would be basic but saw some of the pools at other model homes (with Oklahoma flagstone) and figured it would suit our needs. The company just provided me...

    Coping Upgrade Cost

We are building with Megatel, but the contract states that Venture Custom Pools will be building the pool. We were directed to deal directly with them to design the shape and pick out colors, but my assumption was that Red Colorado wouldn't be the standard base color or only base color...

    Coping Upgrade Cost

Yes, the $20K was the cost for the option to add the pool as part of a new construction of a house. The pool is inground, and the following is included:  All plans and permits included  Standard track hoe soil excavation and removal from level build site  12” X 12” four bar upper...
