Will someone please tell me why the recommended chlorine level should be at a minimum of 2 to 4 before entering pool. I have seen this on labels and read about it from pool managers. Is it technically correct or just opinions. THANKS

When testing pool water should I test the ph or alkalinity first. One sight said to always check alk first. I know the Chlorine should be at the correct level first. I use TF -100 test kit. THANKS

I could still see the brown spot in my test tube and the tube was full. This mean I have zero cya or maybe 5 or 10. I was adding cya as maybe I had a reading of 10. THANKS for any HELP.

I keep my pool open during the winter. Should my chlorine level be the same as it is in the summer months.I keep all other readings the same as the summer months. I don't swim in the pool, I just like to look at the clear water out of my window like it's a little pond. Thanks
