I owner built my pool and it is the first pool I have ever had. I am wondering how much water a pool should lose from normal use and evaporation. I am in South California. Also, is there a way to test if I am losing water from other areas besides evaporation. Thanks for your help.

I do have a SWCG. The water looks cloudy coming out of the returns and I put it to return only water to the spa and the water in the spa became cloudy as well.

Nice. It looks good. I think we are going to go with a Tahoe Blue mini pebble with double black. Any things to look out for or be cautious of? I am owner building my pool, so there is no contractor to go after if it isn't right. Did you have to drain the spa to wet sand the rough spots?

What color of mini pebble did you end up using? How do you like the mini pebble? We are debating what type of finish to use for our plaster. We are located in Corona.
