It has been 3 weeks now. I have the Barracuda running for a week now and cleaned the filter. When can I adjust the TA and Calcium? Currently TA is 90 and Calcium is 120.

The CYA now at slightly more then 30 and I started putting bleach. Right now I added enough bleach to raise Ch to 4 ppm. I checked the TA and it is 90 and Calcium is 120. The pH fluctuates. I bring it down to 7.2 and in couple of days it raises up to 7.8 and then I set it back to 7.2 and cycle...

According to pool calculator and base on 16K gallons, I would nee 64oz of dry conditioner. That is 4lbs. I guess I would introduce it slowly. When do I adjust other parameters, such as, TA, Chlorine and Calcium Hardness?

So basically I need to use the pool calculator. Measure how my CYA, plug the number and see how much conditioner I need to put in the sock.

Update. pH raised to 7.8 yesterday evening, so I adjusted back to 7.2 again. Tonight is going to be 72 hours since I filled the pool. Would it be the right time to add CYA and chlorine. How do I do it? I have 3 chlorine tablets (3"), or should I use the method described below? "the sock...

And now with water. I checked the pH an hour after I felled the pool and it was 7.8. I adjusted the pH to 7.2.

The job is done. Contractor, brushed and did an acid wash. The pool is being filled with water now. So, once it is full, I will turn on the equipment and let it run non-stop for 24 hours and monitor the pH so it is between 7.2 and 7.8. When do I need to add the conditioner?

I talked to the contractor and this is what he said. On Monday they will apply the pebble. On Tuesday they will do an acid wash and fill the pool with water. Then all I have to do is turn on the equipment and balance the water.

So, if I have 16K gal pool, I would need 5.6 Gal of acid. Equipment is off and start brushing after 48 hours. Do I neutralize the acid back to 0?

Update. The concrete is done, but because of rains the plastering will be done on Monday. I am freethinking now about the plaster and want to get the pebble surface. Is pebble start up any different than plaster start up?

I assume no, because I do not know what it is.
