Ok thank you for the great info, I appreciate it. We finished the pool plaster, they fixed the bubbler and did a fairly good job. Now we noticed two more things: cracks in the plaster finish and cracks along the tile grout line. There are about 8 plaster cracks along the edge of the baja shelf...

Yes thank you that is what they are doing now, but I guess my question would be: is there harm in doing this so soon after the plaster has been applied? They drained it down about half way and want us to wait 6 hours to fill to allow dry time. Is this going to affect the finish negatively?

PB says pebble guys want to drain the pool to the bubbler (2nd step height) on Friday and chip out around the bubbler, patch around it, acid wash, then refill the pool. This would mean that the pool was filled for only 48-72 hrs before having the water level lowered below tile line.
