    Heater PVC fittings

The gaskets from that won't fits my current fittings? Meaning..do i have to redo the PVC lines? Is this general PVC i can get at hardware store or some specialized tubing. Probably doesn't help that the pool equipment has been exposed to sub since it's been installed.

    Leaks from valve

This is leaking from where the screw holes are at. Pool tech said it can't be fixed.. anyone have any creative solutions? It almost looks like if i replace the valve body coming off the filter, it will fall apart though.

Calculating hours to run for GPM

I have a 15k in ground pool w/ DE filter (36 sq ft). Pool equipment is ground level. My pool pump is .75 HP. I've been running it for 10 hours a day (i was told it was a 22k pool, recently emptied, cleaned, refilled). Balancing chemicals proved correct to 15k requirements. I am seeing this pump...

Compool CP3800, going from a Single Speed Pump to a Variable Speed Pump

Why do recommend against the Century? It's going to cost me 500 to change the motor only vs 2200 to upgrade to easytouch+Intelliflo. I understand the ease of upgrade (labor wise) but 2.2k is hefty if I'm only loosing convenience of automation. I am looking at possibly doing an Arduino relay, I...

Compool CP3800, going from a Single Speed Pump to a Variable Speed Pump

VSP, easytouch upgrade parts. I have a Compool cp3800 as well. Looking at ebay, the upgrade looks like it will cost me around 2,200. I'd have to lose the automation, but I can keep it to 500 just replacing the SS to a V-Green. Unless I'm wrong about the whole thing. :(

Compool CP3800, going from a Single Speed Pump to a Variable Speed Pump

They won't. My understanding is the vgreen will run on its own as long as I supply power. My concern is, will the valve turn for SPA use only. I think I just have to press one of the stages manually for it to run for spa mode.

Compool CP3800, going from a Single Speed Pump to a Variable Speed Pump

Who's your supplier, I need me a kit. In just ordered the ECM16SQU... I see my upgrade is going to cost me around 2500(vsp + control board upgrade) for everything. ECM will be 500 and simple replacement.
