Installer said permit wasn't needed since replacement and same pool. I may have an electrician out before swimming.

So since as mentioned in a prior thread my pool of 16 years rusted out and I have a new one being installed tomorrow. The old pool was bonded to one of the uprights by the pump, then attached to the pump. Is it a simple as them just attaching that copper wire to the new upright, or is there...

Cut it up while it's standing, or rolled out on ground? Wonder if an angle grinder might be more manageable? Thoughts? About what size to cut them to? Not much of a diyer, i think putting up I'd stress more LOL

I guess my next thread will be how to dispose of AGP. Since the pool walls no longer matter to me sitting empty I assume best to leave up with the liner partially in it until I get an install date so nothing grows in the sand?

after watching the videos of the pool fails thinking just going to get a new pool. Let the shopping begin. At least I have a new filter I bought last season so that saves a few dollars.

dug away the cove around the area. the rail does seem to have some rust on it, though not eaten through, but i am seeing some rust under the cove.
