Was in Wal-Mart here in North Dallas tonight and they had a big end cap display of the same stuff - 10% PE, for the same price $3.64.

Was back in Wal-Mart Sunday and saw they had 2 packs of the 10% PE and it was about $1 cheaper - 2 packs for $6.44, $3.22 a gallon, actually 128 oz vs the other stuff at 121 oz each bottle.

Drove to Ace this morning. They had 14 gallons of 10%, but all date 2016, January or day 106, not sure of the code, but started with 16. Way to old to be a deal even at $2.50. Back to HEB.
Does anyone have a scan of the Ace Hardware ad showing the 4/$10 on the HTH. I have tried checking the online ad at several locations but can't seem to find it. My Ace Hardware's are a small drive away and didn't want to waste a trip.

Probably a way of fire sale old product. Admittedly until joining this forum, I too thought bleach was bleach.

They do this every memorial day. Last year they were out and I was able to special order fresh. I doubt they'll sell that old stuff this year.
I just ordered 40 case (80 gallons) at my local ACE Hardware this morning!
I could never use that much before it went bad. I have to store mine in the shed outside so it degrades quickly in the heat.

There was 4 per case here, maybe you'll get 160g! Hopefully they all start with a 17.
I've ordered this same amount for the last 5 years, on there annual Memorial Day Sale! Every year I've received fresh Chlorine, about 2-3 months old. Here in our ad it states 2 for $10 ( meaning 2. 2pack cases for $10)
For those of you seeing two gallons of 10% at Home Depot and Lowes for 6.86, which section of the store is it in and what brand is it?
I've seen it in the garden section, the Lowes here has Kem-Tek, and Home Depot has HDX
For those in the PA/DE/MD area, Redners has 4 pak of 12.5 percent for $10. The dates of all the boxes in my local store were the 62nd and 100th day of 2017.
Be careful with the 2-packs at Wal-Mart. The one by me in Central Jersey had very old date codes.
Bought three of the 2-packs at Wal Mart in North Texas (Frisco) yesterday. $6.44 for a two pack. Date code was March 2017. Pretty good deal but I wish they'd run the $2.50 special. Have not seen it this year.
For any Canadians here: Canadian Tire has their Aquarius brand 5L Chlorinating liquid (10.8%) currently on sale for $4.79 each. Got what I hope is all I need for the summer now!
