Winter water clarity

Is it just me is the clarity of my water better in the winter. I turned on my lights the other night and it seemed like it had a little more shine than I was used to.

I know I use less chlorine due to the cold temps but the water looks the same to me BUT I do not have a light. It will be interesting to see if anyone else notices the same thing.

With the same diligence as the summer,I think it makes sense for your water to be clearer.....simply less organic load to deal with.
