White slime & skimmers

Yes, pump is working.

Then if the skimmers aren't working, where is the pump getting the water to pump?

They are barely working & im assuming the main drain is where the majority of the water is coming from

How is your system plumbed? If there is a valve at the pad for the main drain, pinch it off until it is nearly closed. There really is no need for the main drain.

That is the top view of my filters? owners manual says to dip them in muriatic acid...I did hose them off but the white slime is on the inside!!! Should I run it & add bleach to the pool??
