We just converted to SWG fro
uv ozone/chlorine pucks. We are about two weeks in and noticed these white flakes and what appears to be corrosion to our pump. Any idea what would cause this? Pool company says it’s normal and they don’t see any leaks. I’m not thinking this is normal.

Welcome! Well, it's not normal. At first impression it does look like corrosion in the early stages. But let's do a couple things:
- Post a full set of water test results. Also include your salt level
- Out of curiosity, scrape some of that stuff off and put it in a pile somewhere (grass maybe) where you can pour some vinegar or muriatic acid on it. Let us know if it fizzles.
- No external leaks at all? Can you post a couple more pics of the area so we can see the entire equipment pad from a couple angles?

We'll see what we can come up with to help.
