Where to store Muriatic Acid

Where do people from areas as far north as NH, or even further north keep their Muriatic Acid in the winter? I understand that some people put it in a plastic container outside. Not sure that will work here. We sometimes get over 100 inches of snow and temps below -10 degrees F for a week are not unheard of. I think a plastic container would probably crack. I usually don’t have MA left over at the end of the year, but this year I do (open bottle.) It’s the half strength stuff.

Well you won't be adding MA in the winter so being under snow won't hinder you. I like one idea I read someone do- in a inconspicuous area they dug a big hole and put a clay pot down in to the hole so that it isn't above ground. Then they used the clay pot base as a lid.

Otherwise the stuff is best left outside and away from metal tools and such.
