Where to add chemicals in an AGP

Probably not a new topic, but I have a hard time using the search feature on this site Anyway...I have an AGP and want to know the correct way of putting chemicals in the water. I have read to "add the chemicals to the deep end of the pool". What if the pool doesn't have a deep end? Then what :?:

Currently I use the return area for most all of the chemical applications as this, to me, seems the most logical in lieu of a deep end as the water is circulating and distributing the product into the water.

Please chime in and give me your insight. Thanks. :bowdown:

In front of the return is the place to be to add chemicals.

Don't feel bad, I haven't had much luck using the search feature either!

But if you add any CYA..........either put it in the skimmer slowly or hang in a sock to dissolve. Don't just dump it in front of a return.
