I decided to replace my shaft seals on my Pentair 3 HP Intellflo Pool Pump. I bought the gasket kit to replace all gaskets. While I was taking apart the pump this seal fell out and I'm not sure where it went. Also I am concerned that since the gasket kit didn't come with a new one I bought the wrong kit. I bought the kit from Leslies Pool and it does say for the Intelliflo on the kit. I'm wondering if someone serviced this pump before and added this VS 20 seal where it maybe didn't belong. I looked through YouTube and Google and cant find any mention of this VS 20 seal for my pump. In searching just VS 20 online it does say its a shaft seal. Can anyone let me know what this piece is and where it goes in relation to the pump rebuild?
