Just converted to liquid chlorine. I run my pool during daylight, 8a to 6p. Site says add chlorine at night, so what do you guys do? Run pool longer or turn it back on to chlorinate at night?

Chlorinate when you can, make sure the pump runs for at least 30 mins afterwards. Other than that its determining how long and at what speed you want to run to skim and filter the water.
