Weird results after pool party...

So I tested this at 7:49am:

FC. 7
CC 0
pH 7.4


After 4 kids playing for 2 hours midday....


tested again at 5:49pm

FC. 7
CC. 0
pH 7.6

Sunny all day and around 87 degrees. I lost NO chlorine???

People in the pool doesn't consume chlorine.

actually, yes they do - many things like sweat, sunscreen, urine and dirt tracked in cause chlorine to drop as it reacts to eliminate the human borne organics. I generally recomend bringing the FC up a couple points before a party.

I dose every time the minions are done swimming for the day. The last time I could actually see a general cloud to the water which was sparkling two hours before. Granted I have a small water volume so it's far more obvious. The last swim I ended up dosing double my usual CL for the day as the daily dose had already been consumed before night fall.

My teenage daughter and her friend can swim all day and by the end of the day I can see some cloudiness in my water.
