My CYA is still around 70, and I'd really like to get it to 60 or possibly 50 to save me some chlorine.
I'I know it's impossible to truly measure this, but wondering if it's reasonable to stick the sump pump on the bottom step of my pool steps, and the garden hose refilling at the same time on the other end. Then I don't need to drain past my pool skimmer, return, requiring me to shut off my heater and pump/filter.
Is this a reasonable method to go with?
