Anyone ever heard of this place? Vincial | Swimming pool search They seem to have lots of equipment at good prices. In fact, everything costs about $60 - $70. I ordered a 19" sand filter from them, so we'll see what happens. Might turn out to be a good resource for the budgetarily challenged.

Paypal disputing is sketchy at best (you have to wait at least 30 days for the merchant to reply to your dispute if memory serves). I would have used my CC myself.

I used my CC thru PayPal. I've never had trouble with them in the past. Disputes have been settled quick and clean.

I recently had a friend send me to an obviously bogus site (misspellings everywhere) that had ariat boots for $69 - every pair! They had already ordered some w/ their debit card. Now their debit card has been “hacked” several times. No boots.

I’ll be utterly shocked if you receive it. I paid $200 for a 16” sand filter/pump a few years ago... and that was a decent price.

Update: I have a legitimate tracking number! They say it will take 10 to 15 days, but the tracking number site says 15 to 25 days due to COVID. It's coming from Fuzhou, China.

We shall see...

This seems very elaborate for a scam or a picture of a sand filter.

That's the beauty of it.

By creating the appearance of actually shipping something that helps them avoid an obvious fraud charge.

We shall see what, if anything, gets delivered.

Maybe begin practicing your mandarin in case the seller refers you to the Chinese source.
