Since opening the pool this year, I’ve noticed the salt reading on the control panel to vary between 3100 - 3300. I haven’t tested this against my Taylor kit this year, but last the numbers were spot on.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't let it bother you. The salinity sensor protocol in the SWCG is not that robust, meaning not very accurate. So if the SWCG is generating, all is good.

J,

I suggest you never trust what the SWCG says, no matter what brand.. While it may be spot on, it is just as likely it is not..

My cell's tolerance is +/- 500 ppm...

Thanks,

Jim R.
I will get a true reading with my test kit tomorrow.

Thanks Jim

After using the Taylor Sodium Chloride test kit the actual reading is 3200.
Thanks again for those who replied.
Amazingly helpful site. Kudos!!!

When I use Calcium Chloride (icemelt) to increase the calcium, the chloride in the Calcium Chloride seems to have an affect on the SWG reading. After adding the idemelt, My Taylor Salt test reads 2700 whereas the SWG reads anywhere from 3100 to 3300.
