Vacuuming question.

Ok..crazy question. Getting ready to vacuum my pool..do I put my filter on waste or backwash? I'm guessing waste, but asking 1st..thanks

If it is just a normal cleaning, I always use filter. Should only need to vacuum to waste if you have something you don't want going through your filter (like floc). How is your water?

Don't ever vacuum to backwash. Backwash is just for cleaning your filter. Not your pool.
