Using superchlorinate

I do not have the above problem but have a question.
If you use the pool calculator and do the shock dose of bleach, can you throw a SWG to "superchlorinate" and stand a chance that you will continue to shock adequately?

Yes, super chlorinate can help maintain shock level, though I don't really recommend it. The thing is, you still need to test the water and adjust the FC level as required. Super chlorinate can be too little or too much, neither of which is desired. I prefer to leave the SWG on it's usual setting, which is already known not to be too much. Since you are doing the testing, adding some bleach is easy enough.
